When these three words come into someone’s mind, we need to ask ourselves what a chemical is? What is the process? And what is technology?
A chemical is a substance that may consist of a gas, liquid, or gas that has been purified.
The process is a method of changing a state of a substance; it can occur by itself or be caused by an outside force.
Technology is all the skills, methods, and techniques used to achieve given scientific research.
To crown the whole three words of chemical process technology, we can say it is a platform that enables one to apply scientific, technical skills and principles to the operation of chemical processing equipment in industries such as petroleum refining, wastewater treatment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and so on. One must know in some essential units such as mathematics, chemistry, physics, and computer application.
We have some significant types of chemical reactions or processes.

-This process majorly requires catalyst energy in electricity or heat to break compounds involved into simpler substances.

Combination process.
Under this process, one or more substances react to form a single new compound. For instance, a solid metal reacts with chlorine gas to form solid sodium chloride.

How do chemical process technology used in different industries?

Petroleum refining.
Petroleum refinery involves various processes; crude oil must be processed by an oil reproduction plant to be transformed into beneficial products such as kerosene, diesel, and many others. Oil refineries involve extensive piping running throughout, carrying streams of fluids between large chemical processing units, such as distillation columns. This is a complex task whereby chemical process technology is used to accomplish the task.
Wastewater treatment.
There are various processes involved, such as Screen and pumping, grit removal, primary settling, aeration, to name a few. Therefore chemical process technology is much involved in achieving all the steps in wastewater treatment.
